The Truth behind Adele Tearful Las Vegas Cancellation and Her Fans’ Reaction
The last two years has been challenging for so many of us. Of course, we are all hoping that 2022 will bring in a breath of fresh air filled with optimism, and plenty of live music.
Adele, like so many of us, was also hoping that the tidal waves would bring onto the parched shores hope and creativity.
This did not happen of course. She planned to do a concert in Las Vegas, fans paid their tickets, booked flights, and hotels, only to be told that the show was cancelled!
It can be annoying, that while flying midair, you receive news that the show has been cancelled. Naturally, it left a sour taste in mouths of her fan base.
Adele, is aware of this brewing anger, and went onto video giving a tearful response as to why the show had to be cancelled. Her reasons for this were explained that the production crew all went down with covid.
This means that, they must have had tested themselves hrs before the show to then have the results coming back as positive. The crew wanted to keep the fans safe, and also Adele.
As a fan of Adele, I can understand her predicament. But, we are living in strange times, and covid is here to stay! What this means as musicians, and their fans, is that: we should expect this to happen on a regular basis! It will be a part of life now. We need to adapt, and work with it!

I also sing live, but, have not done any live concerts for the same reasons that Adele was faced with! What do we do? Until lock-down has totally come to an end, the music industry will be at a grinding halt. It will be like watching paint dry!
This cancellation is outside Adele’s control. Whether you are a fan of hers’ or now, we need to understand that we as musicians, and the fans, are living in challenging times and must stick together until we come through the other side.
